[Board] GeoForAll website form and map

It is important that the new labs submission forms works properly and information is not lost.  I really hope SAC and OSGeo Website team will look into this and help find a solution. The Map function of the GeoForAll website is also not working , so I request OSGeo Board to advise and help us on this. Thanks.

Dear all,

I am one of the people who receive an email notification that a new submission has been made via the submission form on the GeoForAll section of the OSGeo website.

Thanks to Helena for mentioning a few important issues here.

1. I was under the assumption that the Wiki table was not going to be used in future now that we had the new OSGeo website and GeoForAll labs form. Hence I have not been updating or looking at the Wiki table in some time now.

2. There are people using the GeoForAll lab form to submit questions about OSGeo Software to GeoForAll (see some attached screenshots). This to me is most certainly the wrong place for these questions to be posted.

3. There are also some spam/vendors posting on this lab form also.

4. As indicated in a recent email thread we have some form data being submitted completely and wholly in a language other than English. Whilst I absolutely am in favour of each lab communicating in their native tongue or official national language we do need (at least) the description translated to English. Yes, I could drop this into Google Translate but that is probably not the most accurate way to translate. See some attached screenshots.

Re: Kurt Menke. I've looked at the submissions and I cannot find him.

Also I got an email from Kurt Menke (Birds Eye View GIS, lab #89 in wiki table) who has done amazing work developing material for Geoacademy and QGIS saying that he has submitted the form some time ago and he is still not listed on the website, so I am wondering whether there may be more of the forms that need to be approved. As an OSGeo charter member
he may be able to add and edit his entry directly as he has access but there may be others who cannot do it.

Thanks Astrid (and Victoria).

Since GeoForAll is a committee I do not think it needs to join the "projects" list.

GeoForAll is already listed on the boards and officers<https://www.osgeo.org/about/board/> page so we should keep that current.
