[Board] [SAC] Supporting OSGeo4W

It’s under https://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/SAC_Meeting-2020-04
The item - Shared / Project resources for windows/mac building (discussed need - no firm plans as to direction yet)
But sadly not much discussion has happened on the topic.
Personally I think it should be funded partly via SAC budget – Jürgen Fischer already does a lot on SAC and is a SAC member. I’d be happy to try to help out – but not clear how all the building is done.
There was some discussion about how things like pgRouting / PostGIS packaging (for windows) – what I do can be folded in. Not sure that is feasible though as pgRouting/ PostGIS packaging relies on PostgreSQL Prmary Windows packaging (predominantly managed by EnterpriseDb), so the packages I make are designed to work with those.
Thanks,
Regina

I have attended a SAC couple meetings <https://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Category:SAC_Meetings> , but do not recall it on the agenda.

Hi all,
We have not heard back from SAC. Has this been discussed in one of their
meetings?
Best,
Angelos
