[Board] European Geoscience Union, 4-8 May: free online access

Hi all,
I’m reporting about an novel opportunity for free online conference participation from 4 - 8 May  which might be of interest for several OSGeo communities:

The largest annual European Geoscience conference (Europen Geoscience Union: EGU, usually about 16.000 attendees) will take place as a virtual event during the coming week.

Online attendance will be free of charge (gratis) and no registration is required. This is a unique opportunity due to the Corvid-19 pandemic and will not be available in the coming years.

The sessions in the EGU Divisions Earth and Space Informatics (ESSI) and Geosciences Instrumentation and Data Systems (GI) might be particular interest.
