congratulations on your election to the Board of Directors of OSGeo dot 
org (and btw, I voted for you). Please do as you have been and continue 
to represent Academic Freedoms in Software, and the Natural Sciences, in 
the USA, with this new podium and social mechanism of OSGeo.  I think 
you already know that you now represent some of the most accurate, 
performant and diverse geospatial software that has ever been.
