Hi Szabo,

We had a board discussion about platform/framework projects applying for
OSGeo Community Project status:
https://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Board_Meeting_2021-10-03#OSGeo_Community_Project_check-in.2C_request_clarification_on_handling_of_platform_applicants.2C

Would you be available to join the next board meeting
(https://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Board_Meeting_2021-12-27) to discuss
further about this issue? (incubation members also welcome to join)

Best,
Angelos

We already had the option to install our service using a helm chart because we want to have a service that is easily scalable and low downtime. We also wrote an article how both of them work: https://giscollective.com/2021/07/09/installing-giscollective/ Also, people who don't want or can run their own instances, can use the ones that we maintain and are publicly available at these urls: https://app.giscollective.com https://new.opengreenmap.org

The platform currently has features for creating, managing and publishing all sorts of geographical data and is used now by Green Map and other small communities. Of course, the code is open source and it can be accessed here: https://gitlab.com/GISCollective

Do you think that we would be a good candidate for your incubator program? If so what would be the next steps that we need to take in order to join your community?
