[Board] board election results, is there a news item to promote?

I saw the election results posted to discord and discussion list yesterday.

Will there be a news item for the marketing committee to promote (LinkedIn,
Facebook, Mastadon, etc...).

For board members active on linked in please update you profile to reflect
your change in status. LinkedIn is surprisingly effective as an outreach
tool for OSGeo.
