Charter/Board elections update; Decision on how many new

While I didn't note it at the time, I think that there is value
in the "Charter Membership" being considered as a badge of
honour, something which is difficult to obtain, and something
that you only can gain by being voted into the role. To achieve
that, we need to:
1. Have a vote.
2. Only accept a subset of people who apply. Last year we
accepted everyone, and I think that was detrimental to the
"Charter Member" brand. That said, I was in agreement that all
proposed candidates were valuable.

I'm open to the number of people we accept. I suggest it should
be at least as many people as last year, and less than 48. Maybe
25-30?
Can someone please describe what is required to fix this? Once
we can describe what is required, I suggest going to the

(assuming they are provided with sufficient privileges).
I'm -0 on paying someone to fix it at this point, until we have
a groundswell of people asking for it.
I'm also open to suggesting we turn it off. If companies think
it is worth having, then they will stand up and offer to fix it.
