--></style></head><body lang=en-GR link="#467886" vlink="#96607D" style='word-wrap:break-word'><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal>Dear OSGeo Board Members,<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>We are reaching out with the capacity of the organizers of the 25th Conference on Mobile Data Management (MDM), an international conference organized yearly and supported by IEEE.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>This year, one of our high priority objectives is to enlarge the conference's community and further improve the prestige of the event among relevant researchers and practitioners.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>To this end, we are reaching out to established communities that we believe that our conference overlaps with in terms of fields of interest. In fact, MDM researchers are using, developing and promoting OSS for mobile data analysis and management, more often than not for applications with a geographical-based element. Furthermore, the organizer of this year's conference and his team are the creators and supporters of one OSGeo project, namely MobilityDB.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Based on the above, we seek a long-term collaboration between MDM and OSGeo. As a starting point, we would like to offer you one free registration for one day at the conference and a booth to promote OSGeo activities to the MDM community.
