<font face="Droid Sans">Dear FOSS4G EU Organizers,<br>
<br>
OSGeo, along with the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) and Apache
Software Foundation (ASF) runs a yearly Joint Code Sprint, focused
on open standards and open source software. We have been running
this event since 2021. As an example, see last year’s sprint (in
London, held the week after FOSS4G EU in Tartu): <a

<br>
This year, we had an issue with the initial host, which left us to
organize the sprint very late. We have identified a host in
Portugal (Évora), as well as possible dates for the sprint the
weeks of July 7-11 and July 21-25. Although we are explicitly
avoiding the week of FOSS4G EU, we are aware of the proximity of
the two events, and we would not like to leave room for any
perturbation in the attendance of FOSS4 EU in Mostar.<br>
<br>
Do you, as organizers, see any issues with the code sprint being
held in the week before or after FOSS4G EU in Mostar?<br>
<br>
Please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.<br>
<br>
On behalf of the OSGeo Board,<br>
