Hi
Perhaps my last post was not clear. The class cost for OpenLayers from
OpenGeo is $3,000. The per person cost would be about $300.

Hi
Since Chris is not able to do the OpenLayers class, I have been
investigating some other options...
Tim Schaub of OpenGeo can teach a 1-day OpenLayers class in Boston for
$3,000. The proposed dates are November 9, 10 or 11. I would have to find
a venue, possibly our office in Weston, if I can get enough internet
connections or wireless up and running before then. A portable computer
with OpenGeo installed would be required by each participant.
Let me know if you are interested and what day is best. If I can get $10
committed people, then it's a go. A deposit will be required. Any other
suggestions on venue are welcome.
Please reply to me directly.

Subject: [OSGeo-Boston] OpenLayers training
Hi,
About 8 weeks ago, I offered to do a free OpenLayers training (originally
dated this Sunday).
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, I was unable to
prepare adequately (and never got to the point where I picked a final date).
(These circumstances included things like being asked to move out of my
apartment as well as having to move offices from one space to another.) I
realize that this is a problem for people who were looking forward to this
training.
It is still my intention to offer an OpenLayers workshop to interested
parties at some point, but I do not yet have a firm date on when this will
be possible.
I will update the list when I can establish a more firm committment; in the
end, building the materials for the workshop has just taken more of my time
(and I've had less of my time) than I expected, in order to create a
reasonable workshop.
Thanks,
Chris_______________________________________________
