Time to talk money,

While OSGeo has put down the $1000 for the table at the AAG we've got a
growing list of other events and materials we need to find funds for.

As such we've developed a letter requesting sponsor funds, based on the
marketing meeting we will refine this letter to meet temporary
guidelines that are still in formation.

1. We will collect funds on behalf of OSGeo so that we can transfer them
in bundles to Tyler to ease the workload of processing checks, etc.
 - Landon, do you want to be the contact person for that?

2. I've estimated that we need to raise $2000-3000 for this spring's
lineup of AAG, CGS, Where 2.0, and at least another $1000 if we want to
do CalGIS (Table is $800)
 A. We need more ideas of companies and organizations to ask.
 B. What will sponsors get in return for their $
	1. Some sort of logo at our booths
	2. Listing as a sponsor at our booths
	3. Listing on our wiki page
	4. What else?

 C. We need clear guidelines for donation levels.

Materials - Pay for flyer printing, posters or DVD presses
$200 or $500 (What should the minimum monetary amount be?)
	$1000
	$2000
$3000+ - Become and OSGeo Associate Sponsor(Get's them on the website)

We've got about a week to work out the language of the letter and run it
by the Marketing and the Financial Committees including what the minimum
monetary donation should be.

We also could use some help finding more potential sponsors and finding
vendors for some of the Exhibition Pack items.

Once again, please send your thoughts to the list.

Thanks,
Alex
