[California] Fall Fiesta, Oct 22

Various economic reasons will prevent me from attending. Perhaps remote attendance will be possible<?>…but I thought I would pass the news. 

Realizing what I missed out on at FOSS4G in Denver pumped me up to make the long trip to Davis from San Luis Obispo - but after crunching the numbers, I have to make the hard decision to say no.
