Hi Bob (and list),
That's a good question.  I think Landon was the one spear-heading the organizing...  I did the survey, reported back the results, asked the list for feedback and got none.  I am happy to help plan the meeting, but I cannot do it without input and help from the group (for example, very few OSGeo folks filled out the survey).  The survey indicated a potentially larger interest from folks in the Sacramento/Davis area and that late February works.  I know there's interest in getting a tour/demo of Keck Caves (3D immersive geospatial data display), but we would need to schedule that soon if we want to have the meeting this month since they will need to schedule staff to work on a weekend for us.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for filling out the meeting survey.  We've gotten 30 responses and it's probably time to make some decisions.

Place:
Davis - 24
San Jose - 6
San Diego - 12

Date: The favorite was the last weekend (either Sat. or Sun.) in Februrary.  That's good news because we need time to plan.  The next most popular was Sun. 2/5.  But really, all the days were pretty even.

I also have a list of topics and speakers, as well as all the email addresses for the survey respondents.  So, now we need to make some decisions about where and when, then start getting speakers lined up.  Anyone who wants to help plan, I can add you to the responses Google Doc.
