Call for #maptimeDavis Workshops

#maptimeDavis is now accepting proposals for workshops for Fall Quarter!  Workshops for Fall Quarter will take place on Mondays from 1:00-3:00 in the DSI Classroom in UC Davis' Shields Library.  Workshops should be about 1-1.5 hours in length and teach participants a skill related to mapping, GIS, or Remote Sensing.  Teaching in teams is encouraged. To propose a workshop, email Michele Tobias with a brief description of the topics you plan to cover, the instructors, dates you would prefer to teach, and any special requirements your workshop may have.  (The room has a projector with both HDMI & VGA cables and power at each table.  Workshop participants bring their own computers.)  Proposals should be submitted by Sept. 19th - this coming Wednesday!

#maptimeDavis began in Fall of 2017 and is the Davis community's weekly meet up for making maps and learning mapping technologies.  It is brought to you by the UC Davis Library's Data Management Program and the UC Davis Center for Spatial Sciences.
