I think what would really help is a pic of the conference chair (Maria), 
below or above her name on the committee page[1]

It might also be nice to have a pic of Marco as well.

Also, if someone wants to learn more about the conference chair, where 
is that information?  (you might pull info from 
http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/User:Maria)
