Subject: [Conference-europe] FOSS4G Europe 2026 call for venue

Hi all,

August is here and we are all set to open the call for venue for FOSS4G 
Europe 2026. If you would like to host the event next year then please 
head over to the Conference-Europe-2026 wiki page [1] and send an e-mail 
to the conference-europe mailinglist [2] answering the questions posed 
there on the wiki page.

Your proposal can be a simple e-mail. If you prefer preparing a separate 
document then pdf is an acceptable format but please don't send attached 
files to the list - host them on e.g. OSGeo NextCloud and send a 
publicly accessible url to the list instead.

If you have any questions or run into technical problems, please feel 
free to reach out.

Deadline for submitting your proposals is 31.08.2025 (Sunday) end-of-day.
