If there is a one-page ad black and white, i could try
to have it published in next issue of some of the
scientific journals in Asia. Also OSGeo will
operate a booth at Map World Forum (MWF)and a
one-page conference announcement can be distributed
at MWF (2500 participants estimated). Banner can
be printed and displayed at the OSGeo booth if
printable version is available.

Pl. send banner and other conference material
to Dr. K.S. Rajan so as to reach him before
19 Jan 2006.

Maybe we have to identify some partnersship
with academic societies so that they promote
the conference for free on their web-site and
journals. I can talk to a few in Asia for this.

GIS at development was/is very keen to be Media Partner
with OSGeo and could prominently show the FOSS4G
announcement of the top page of their website.
They need to be officially appointed as one of
the Media Partners. We did that in GIS-IDEAS 2006
in Vietnam and had to put the logo on the conference
page page(wgrass.media.osaka-cu.ac.jp/gisideas06/).
I can talk to the folks at GIS at development.
