[OSGeo-Conf] FOSS4G impact survey - possibility?

Understanding FOSS4G buying decisions would be very valuable for me when 
considering how we structure FOSS4G2009.
Things like:
What is more important? Plush venue, or $100 off the price.

Who would pay for your trip to FOSS4G? Personal? Work? Other?
Would your work pay you wages while at FOSS4G?
