[OSGeo-Conf] FOSS4G-V 2012?

Since FOSS4G 2012 isn't happening I was thinking about a smaller virtual
conference instead. Perhaps a day (or a couple of afternoons) or
presentations using Google+ Hangouts On Air. This would give people an
opportunity to present some interesting updates, projects, and research
and try out the virtual conference idea. So, what do you think? I'd be
willing to acts as an organizer but I haven't done this sort of this
before so I'd need some help getting presentations together and doing
some marketing.
