[OSGeo-Conf] FOSS4G events - email privacy

MailChimp is not a CRM, it’s mailing software that works of lists that you upload. The challenge is maintaining the lists with any degree of granularity

I agree with Darrell that a proper CRM would be a great asset allowing us to develop a better understanding of conference delegates, list members etc and deliver more tailored marketing communications to them. There are open source solutions that we could deploy and hosted solutions that we could purchase. 

I will stick my hand up to help (emphasis on help) with implementation if we decide to go ahead with a CRM
