[OSGeo-Conf] Extend 2017 proposal deadline?

Speaking on behalf of the Boston LOC...

So, it sounds like the extension to proposal submittal has been "approved"
and that the *new date is now formally 10/17/15*. Is that accurate?

Also, can the Committee confirm whether there are any other trickle down
changes to the Proposal timeline? For instance, will the Committee's *decision
date* be pushed back as well? Given the nature of the bids and
hotel/conference center involvement there some
conversations/options/contractual matters that are pegged to the "selection
date" and it would be helpful to share the full, revised timeline with our
partners.

Please advise and clarify, and thanks in advance...
