[OSGeo-Conf] Draft Request for Proposals for FOSS4G 2027

Dear Conference Committee.

We just had a meeting and would like to prepare our letter of intent for
FOSS4G 2027 to be hosted in Bristol, UK.

While reviewing the draft request for proposal document we noticed that the
dates seem to be off.

It says that letters of intent are to be received by December 2026, and the
host selection will be in March 2027.

It will be impossible to prepare the FOSS4G conference in 4 months to be
hosted in Summer 2027.

We believe that the dates are 1 year off and the letter of intent should be
issued in December 2025, next month.

Can you confirm whether this assumption is correct?
