Our aim is to allow comfortably for 800 delegates with the option to expand to 1000+ if the demand exceeds our expectations. We researched alternative locations in the Bristol area. However these venues were either too remote (i.e. Newport), too small, or both. We are in communication with the venue team at the University of Bristol and I will check whether a manual reservation prior to the system calendar opening up dates for late August/September 2027 is possible. Preparation Status We are currently preparing the conference website, the CfP, and the initial announcement emails. We expect to share this information with the community soon. 2. Academic Track Email Address We received several email addresses for the conference, but we found that there is no address for the Academic Track. Would it be possible to have an address such as academic at foss4g.org, or does it already exist? 3. Travel Grant Program (TGP) Regarding the Travel Grant Program, could you please clarify where the official requests should be sent? Should they go to the Conference Committee, the Board, or somewhere else?
