<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I would like to point out that we did a pretty deep survey regarding costs (budget), as well as a good articulation with government institutions. At this moment we have the official support from the Heath and Environment Ministries, and the Aerospace National Institute (INPE), which is the Spring and Terralib developer. I am afraid we did not make clear the importance of it for the local organization committee.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>We also didn't mention the growing government interest for WebGIS applications and open interoperability standards, and our intention run a parallel Brazilian symposia during FOSS4G, in case it happens here.</FONT></DIV>
