w:st="on">Denver</st1:place></st1:City> was awarded the 2011 FOSS4G
conference. Your numbers seem to be on track if you don’t
take away from other training opportunities. We have a long history in <st1:State
w:st="on">Colorado</st1:State> with the GIS in the <st1:place w:st="on">Rockies</st1:place>
conference. It will be interesting to see what the attendance
numbers will be from this week. I see that you have partnered with
GITA. Have you looked at working with the other societies? Partnerships
can be tricky but if they work, they can save a lot or resources. Something
to keep in mind is that many organizations, including mine, ban out of state
travel. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
