Question: <div><br></div><div>What is the official OSGeo policy on using the "FOSS4G" brand name in local and/or mini conferences? </div><div><br></div><div>We have a growing group of OSGeo developers working in the .NET/Mono programming environment and coordinated through our OSGeo Mailing List <a href="mailto:dotnet@lists.osgeo.org">dotnet@lists.osgeo.org</a> and we were thinking of having a mini-conference to coordinate our efforts and perhaps calling it FOSS4G .NET - in conjunction with the annual MapWindow conference.</div>
<div><br></div><div>From what I read here: <a href="http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/FOSS4G">http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/FOSS4G</a> there is general support for such efforts to "roll your own conference" using the FOSS4G name, but it doesn't give much specific guidance on how the name should or shouldn't be used...</div>
