Dear all,

It's time to announce our request for proposals to host FOSS4G2023. Because of the pandemic situation, the 2022 call was open for both Europe and North America. Because the context didn't improve too much and because of all the related uncertainties, my proposal
is to allow the countries from all continents to participate in this bid. This will increase our chances to have a strong participation. To have a quick decision on that, I'm making a motion on this topic and I also vote + 1 for having FOSS4G2023 RfP open
for all the globe. Please cast your vote for the motion in the next three days. Of course, discussions are also open and encouraged.

Warm regards,
Vasile
Conference Committee Co-Chair
