[OSGeo-Discuss] Request for Information (RFI) Geospatial Line of Business

Some government agencies, such as the Census Bureau, already have
preferences for OSS stated in their tenders. So I think this is further
along than the RFI would indicate.

Is anyone else interested in working on this?  I could put some decent
time in, and think it could be important, presenting some compelling
arguments as to why the US government should invest in open source
geospatial.

I can devote a few cycles to OSGeo over the next few weeks, and this
sounds like just the sort of thing we want the organization to do, and
can reuse the answers elsewhere.  We could start a wiki page and
collaborate there...
