[OSGeo-Discuss] Mapguide installation

Hello ,
I am trying to install the Mapguide along with FDO on Ubuntu-6.10
I followed the installation guide but stuck at the point
when i try running the script
 ./build_thirdparty.sh
test: 89: ==: unexpected operator
test: 98: ==: unexpected operator
./build_thirdparty.sh: 105: Syntax error: Bad fd number
I am getting error. So unable to proceed with the mapguide .
Please help me in this regard.
