Hi all, (talk-openstreetmap, osgeo-list)
Sorry that i dont speak your language (still learning programming code)

AFAIK getting the address system to work on OSM is not an easy task.
Im just wondering if u guys are involved with trying to make address
search possable in the USA?

Just so u know (maybe old news) that were going to be importing the
NRN for Yukon, Alberta & nova scotia -first; as these provinces have
'address-range' imbedded to the roads. - the other provincer dont
have this yet.

I am wondering if anyone has already been working with the NRN dataset
from these provinces?
Also, it's important that the import follows suite with Standard OSM
conventions on labeling. These standards are still being built..
However, address search is available for Germany and other parts of
europe.
It would be nice if the canadian import matched up with the TIGER data Import.

I know that around the world, their are many different ways to be
storing this data, so i would like it if this GeoBase import conformed
to the already existing standards.[1]
Just on a quick search i found [2] a listing of different address
types and a push for this.

Perhaps its my mistake, as you may be the ones working on it. (not sure)

So now, im looking at creating some kind of conversion program that
would translate the data from GeoBase, to that of acceptable to OSM.

Perhaps there is a way that this program can feed from some other
program which is already in existance? (but i think that all programs
used would also need to be OpenSource, so im not sure if there would
be a conflict their with CC-SA)

Thanks,
