I like this type of approach.  Let's not re-invent the wheel if we don't
have to.  We don't want to run the risk of creating some type of ghetto
that nobody much knows about or goes to visit.  Perhaps we could have
have some sort of (moderated?) jobs blog that provides a feed for the
big job sites to consume, and an open source geospatial feed from them?
Not sure if they'd be open to that though.
