[OSGeo-Discuss] Digital Nautical Charts

I am a total newbie to GRASS.

I have searched trying to find information about Digital Nautical Chart 
(DNC) data and importing it or reading the DNC data into GRASS. I tried 
orginfo and it could not get any information about the data.

Can GRASS or GRASS with an addon read/import DNC data? If so, is there a 
HowTo? If the is no HowTo and it is possible, would someone be so kind 
as to help me accomplish this?
