[OSGeo-Discuss] Dumping empty PostGIS table into Shp

Hi!

I am dumping a bunch of PostGIS tables into Shape files. If a table is
empty, an empty shape file should be generated (otherwise there are
problems down the line because of the missing file). I can't get pgsql2shp
or ogr2ogr to dump empty tables, though. Any ideas?
