Hi,

My name is Tony Kehlhofer and I am the owner of Maps4Kids.com. GIS Day is coming up on November 18, 2009 and I am looking to organize an event in the Seattle area. My goal is to have access to a space  (so far the SPL has said 11/17 is open from 10am-2pm and cost is $625) where local GIS companies could exhibit maps and applications in a manner
that would appeal to kids, probably in Grades 3-6.

If space cannot be found or paid for, an alternative would be a Web Conference that classes could join. Companies could have 10-15 minutes to present something during a 60-90 web conference.

Anyone who would like to join me in organizing this event or who would like to participate, please feel free to call or email me to discuss.
