A note out to anyone in the Atlantic Canada region: an OSGeo chapter is 
now in formation.  Check out our wiki page

list (subscribe at 
http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/atlanticcanada), and possibly 
introduce yourself through that email list.  We hope to have our first 
meeting soon.
