[OSGeo-Discuss] New AcidMaps with Geoserver plugin

Hey Mauricio,
just now had time to look deeper into the project. The GeoServer plugin
looks really great. Reusing the WMS "infrastructure" in such a clever
way is just neat, and being able to use any point layer as data source
rocks.
Question: would it work with multi-point layers too?
I would like to push the plugin into GeoServer's svn as a community
module, if you guys are up to it, and get you commit access on that
module. We could even arrange to have the native libraries installed on
the hudson server and get it into continuous integration once it
upgrades to "extension" (i.e. supported and documented).
We could even set up a couple integrated demos. I think there should be
a lot of people interested on it and perhaps having it as an official
GeoServer extension would give it a bit more of exposure to users, which
could be of interest to you.
I for instance already have a use case in mind which is creating heat
maps out of the Suite's monitoring plugin database.
Ok, too much of a rant so far. Congratulations on the project again!
Chau loco,
Gabriel.
