[OSGeo-Discuss] Welcome new Charter members

Dear OSGeo Colleagues,

I am greatly humbled and thankful for this opportunity to be Charter member of OSGeo. I will strongly continue in my efforts with the aim to get Open Source GIS its rightful place in geospatial education worldwide. It is a long road but i am confident with all of our joint efforts and hardwork we will achieve this aim.

Having strong agenda and result oriented plans  for Education and training is very important for the long term sustainability of OSGeo and our aim to help bring the benefits of geospatial technologies to all especially for the economically disadvantaged communities worldwide.

Thanks to Jo and Mike for nominating me and all charter members for giving me this opportunity.

It is very disturbing seeing the percentage of voting from charter members.
Let us try and see that only those interested remain in the charter.
