Hi Mathieu,

Yes, I did look into MapsForge. The problem is, only a small subset of osm features is converted into the binary .map format, which is bad for customized osm. And I also don't know about feature access. But otherwise it sounds pretty cool, the complete Berlin area in ~14 MB!
