Many thanks for the answer, Richard, well the .ecw did not appear in the list of supported formats (but .ers appears). However, I've seen that gdal support .ecw, and moreover that people have imported .ecw succesfully to GRASS. I'm using Windows XP on my computer, and I've also the ER viewer installed. Pablo
