[OSGeo-Discuss] PostGIS Topology pledge: 2 people have signed up, 8 more needed

This is just a reminder about the fundraising drive aimed at improving
the PostGIS topology support in upcoming 2.0 release.

The idea is that such a new function would make it extremely simple
for you to start using topology for your layers. As simple as:

  UPDATE layer SET topo_geom = toTopoGeometry('layertopo', geom);

You could use the topological representation just to cleanup the data [1],
to produce a pyramid of simplified versions or simply for storage and
exchange with other systems (topological GML output already available).

It will take 8 more signatures to get it started.

The pledge deadline is December 20th.
