Hi all,

I am at the beginning of a project, which will be implemented in Java, it is
a web application.

The application has to shows an ortophoto with extension ECW and marks
coordinates in ortophoto, I have never worked with ortophotos so I am
confused.

My solution is:
     Install Geoserver with GDAL with support ECW
     Show the map with Openlayers 
     Use Openlayers to mark de coordinates

Is a right solution? 

Is there an alternative solution better than the solution offers for me?
