[OSGeo-Discuss] Can't convert .dgn file to shape file by using ogr2ogr

Tai,

ESRI Shapefiles restrict the type of geometry in a layer to one type.
You may be able to overcome this using the -nlt option
ogr2ogr -f "ESRI Shapefile" -nlt GEOMETRY Dc16.shp Dc16.dgn
