[OSGeo-Discuss] Open Source GIS in Russia

If I can publicly reflect for a moment: one of the most memorable FOSS4G
times I ever had, was with Anton and his wife (also from Russia), at 6AM
in the GeoRepublic office in Osaka, Japan, waking up so darn early to
watch the Russia-Canada quarter final ice hockey game for the 2010
Olympics: Anton and his wife sitting beside me on the edge of their
seats cheering for their country, both Canadians and Russians so
passionate about ice hockey and their country, it was a bonding moment.
 We are a lot alike.  I'll never forget it.
