[OSGeo-Discuss] Announcement tools at OSGEO?

GeoMoose 2.6 is on the verge of being released.  I recall having the announcement of (major) releases being added to the OSGEO news feed in the past and that I had to ask someone about this. Are there any other similar tools/processes from the OSGEO side?
