[OSGeo-Discuss] Board nomination: Gérald Fenoy

I strongly support this nomination for Gérald Fenoy.

Gérald brings an interesting perspective to OSGeo.  I remember him
saying to me how he attended FOSS4G 2006 and then decided to dedicate
his business and career (and life) to FOSS4G.  And he has indeed done so.

Gérald has endless energy and passion, and his activities at the OSGeo
Project level are well known.  He also travels to many communities
around the world (always towing his briefcase on wheels behind him, with
a smoke in his mouth) and shares his deep passion for Open Source
geospatial.

I have had the honor of listening to his thoughts on OSGeo, many many
times, and each time, it is special for me.  He never holds back, says
what is on his mind, in his heart, and has a true true concern for all
things OSGeo.

I have watched Gérald grow through the years, and, I believe it is an
excellent opportunity for both the Board and for the community, to have
such a strong voice as a leader.

Please consider Gérald for the Board of Directors of OSGeo.
