[OSGeo-Discuss] Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin Qgis

I am trying to use "Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin" in Qgis 1.8.0.
 When I installed the plugin its Icon was placed on the toolbar and it
opens the tabbed form.  The form comes up but I am not able to enter or
select a raster image.  Orfeo and Saga tools work under the Sextante
(1.9.0) Toolbox.

Are there any suggestions as to how I can get this plugin to function.
