Hi Cameron,
I note you say disappointed rather than surprised.
I agree, & if the contents are not made public, or at least provided to all paying OGC members & all voting OGC members, then I fail to see how the OGC can honestly claim the vote in any way reflects the preferences of its membership, rather than a vote by some members who were under some sort of pressure from a large multinational company.

I have been notified that ESRI/OGC will not be sharing reasons for voting for the "GeoServices REST API" that has been sent to OGC voting members.
I'm disappointed that such information is being with held from public debate.
