I'm happy to nominate a long time cornerstone of OSGeo activities in
the PDX region and wider coastal discipline, Tanya Haddad.

Tanya Haddad is a local user and supporter of open source geospatial.
Tanya is also a key connector of people both locally and nationally
(especially in the catalog, metadata, and coastal contexts).  Tanya
works in State government in the Oregon Coastal Management Program and
has successfully deployed open source solutions for web mapping and
reporting (MapServer, GeoNetwork, PostGIS, ka-Map!, OpenLayers and
others).

Tanya is a long time and effective open data advocate.

Tanya has also organized PDX-OSGeo for many years and continues to
welcome and mentor new members and leaders in PDX-OSGeo.  She is a key
contributor to the FOSS4G LOC.  Tanya's well reasoned thought process
and emails and patient interactions are a benefit to any endeavor she
undertakes.
