Hi!

    Here is the new open project: "Open Earth View". It relies mainly on 
X3D format exploitation.

    An example is here: http://www.openarthview.net

    OSM wiki:

    - http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Osm2x3d

    This project already provides a public webservice to get X3D tiles in 
the following format:
    
http://www.openearthview.net/osm2x3d.php?zoom=_ZOOM_&xtile=_XTILE_&ytile=_YTILE_
