I suggest creation of a separate mailing list — "osgeo-politics”, perhaps, or maybe “osgeo-internal-affairs” — for discussions about OSGeo that, while of legitimate concern to a number of people in this community, nonetheless do not directly address the general topic of open source, geospatial software.
